The short answer is sometimes.
- Most siding is made of vinyl. In extreme temperatures a possibility of cracking when cutting and nailing may occur.
- Siding is best done when temperatures are above 32 degrees.
- If the materials are stored in a garage and protected from the elements weather may be less of a factor.
- Extreme temperatures make caulking difficult.
